In Talas we weave willow and reed by hand, making the wicker pieces homes and businesses need, from baskets to pendant lights.
Our story
greenosier is the brand of Talas Hasır Sepetçilik, a basket and wicker weaving workshop in Talas, Kayseri.
The “osier” in our name is the flexible willow rod used in basketry. Most of our products are woven from these rods and from reed, by hand and without machines.
Alongside kitchen and home pieces, we now also make pendant lights, thatch fringe and display baskets for cafés, restaurants and hotels.
How we work

Natural materials
We use natural materials such as willow, reed and dried grass; no plastic or synthetic fibres.

Handmade
Every piece is woven one by one in our workshop, so small variations between pieces are normal.
